The Winner Speaks!
I finally heard from the winner of the contest, Thomas Nelson.

I was introduced to the contest thanks to Twitter, through @ToddAlanHarris who had clearly taken a fascination with the idea of your contest. I thought the idea was intriguing, and opted to record an obviously low quality clip of myself participating as I watched the ball drop with my family.
I’m a pretty simple person, from a young age I’ve enjoyed playing video games. For years now I’ve seen the charity Child’s Play provide games, toys, and books to children’s hospitals around the world, and I would like for the money to go to Child’s Play so that it may help bring happiness and entertainment to children.
I ask that you make the donation in the name of “Thomas Nelson and IRONFIST Clan”, which is my family of friends that I enjoy so many hours of gaming with. I hope that the children who benefit from this charity also find lifelong friendships through gaming as I have.
There you go, Thomas. I hoped to actually give the money in your name, but Child’s Play uses PayPal for their online donations, and they don’t offer that option. Thanks for entering!
